The Thinking Democrat

Can I play the race card? (I am African American)  How about the mother card or the wife card?  Or better yet, how about the man card?  What, you say that's not fair?  Why not, Hillary's playing her cards.  The woman card is being used like old fish grease on french fries.  I don't quite understand it however.  I thought that Hillary was a smart woman.  I thought that she had all her ducks in a row.  She's suppose to have everything needed to become the first woman president.  Then why does she have to use this school yard game with voters?  Probably because she knows that it will work on some none-thinking female voters out there.

Let's face it.  It's not the first time that she's used this card.  She has been using it for the past couple of months.  When she say's "I'm your girl".  Surely you don't think that she's talking to the average male voter out there.  She say's coyly that "I'm getting all this attention because.....".  Get it?  Attention. 

I am a woman and I refuse to fall for any of Hillary's games.  You see, I am a thinking democrat.  If I was as gullible as some voters out there, she'd have me hook, line and sinker.  Why, because I'm a woman, I'm African American and I need health care really bad.  But, I have never worn blinders.  I want to see where I'm going when I walk out the door; or into the voting booth.

Sen. Obama was correct.  If he screamed about getting called naive or being called on his positions at these debates, the american public would not stand for it. So, why should we stand for it coming from Hillary.  I thought that she was more savy than that.  I'm so disappointed.

Let's go to work tomorrow everyone and tell our bosses that we need a raise because we are black, white, male, female, short, tall, tan, not tanned.........oh boy, I could go on and on.

I, like Obama, give the american people more credit than that.  I'll leave Hillary to speak to the none-thinking voters out there.
