Will The Real Hillary Please Stand Up

@ 11:09 AM (12 months, 17 days ago)

In prior debates, Hillary Clinton has stated that the Dems should not be attacking each other, but instread save that energy for the Repubs.  Well what a difference a debate and recent polls make.  Hillary spent last week attacking Sen. Barack Obama.  First it was the revelation that the Clinton camp had information on Sen Obama that was as the least, a little seedy.  Then the polls came out that Sen Obama was leading in the new Iowa Poll with 30% of the caucus goer's choosing him over Hillary.  Then, to make matters worse, Sen Obama had the nerve to respond quickly to the aligation and also stand toe to toe with her and not let her get away with just saying anything.

Well, Hillary thought she had this election all sewn up.  She may win the primary at the end, BUT, I think that she took the voters for granted from the start.  I think that she was premature and a bit disrepectful in treating her demomcratic rivals as if they did not matter.  She has not won the nomination.  She has not won a single state to date. How arragant of Hillary to assume that the country would overwhelmingly cast their votes for her.  The other candidates have something to say also.  As a matter of fact, they have said more that she when it comes to where they stand on the issures.

Also, I must say that former President Bill Clinton has alot of respect from fellow democrates.  They believe that he served over a prosperous time for this country.  However, for me, Hillary is tarnishing the respect that I have for Bill Clinton, with a little help from the former president himself.  When he comes out and talks about the "boys" that she is running against and when they both play the gender card, Bill looses more and more of my respect.  I already have no respect for Hillary.  Hillary should play far and stop whinning about the boys.  Don't talk about gender and then lie and say you're not playing the gender card.  Don't talk about honesty when you won't release your White House papers.  (you do have that power)

Sen Obama has the right to defend himself against the lies of the Clinton campaign.  I respect the fact that he will stand up and look you in the eye and tell you the truth, not just what you want to hear.  I respect the fact that when Hillary down plays the fact that he lived overseas as a child, that he responded quickly.  I respect the fact that Sen Obama told the Clinton's to release whatever information they may have on him and release quickly.  I respect the fact that Sen Obama is not afraid of the Clinton machine (whatever that is) and will tell the American people and Hillary Clinton the truth.  Others could learn a lesson from this.
